Mental Capacity Act 2005 Assessments

Decisions Specific 

All Mental Capacity Act 2005 assessments are time and decision specific to the individual. These are always completed showing compassion and understanding.



Lasting Power of Attorney

Property & Financial Affairs or Health and Welfare

By giving someone the legal authority to make decisions on your behalf, when you are no longer able to do so, you are planning for an eventuality that none of would like to consider, but it is an important part of the planning process.

Lasting Power of Attorney comes in 2 different form: Property & Financial Affairs or Health & Welfare.

Should there be any question with regards to someone's capacity to consent to an application, then a Mental Capacity Act 2005 Assessment may also be required.

If the donor is assessed to lack capacity with regards to this, then an application to the Court of Protection would be required for Court Appointed Deputy to manage their financial affairs.

We can support you in finding the right care for you and with a provider you are happy with. This can be support in your own home or in a residential setting.



Travel

The cost of travel

For all visits by ourselves to you, there is a cost of £0.45p per mile traveled. This will be calculated using online maps and will reflect the distance travelled rather than time taken.

This will be discussed prior to any visit and the amount agreed upon in advance.
